JUN SA HAPKIDO

Jun Sa or "Warrior" Hapkido is the result of the theories and principles taught by Grandmaster Choi Yong Sool in its modern practical form.

It is a self-defense art focused on close quarter combat combining "soft" and "hard" techniques. Emphasis is placed on balance, momentum and joint manipulation over force. Classes emphasize partner-based training that instills situational awareness, efficient joint locks, throws, and weapon defenses, with every technique tailored to the individual’s body type and ability for real-world effectiveness.

Since its founding in 2010, Phoenix Dragon Martial Arts has been the premier studio for Hapkido in Clallam County. Winning the Peninsula Daily New's "Best of Martial Arts" for multiple years, PDMA offers adult and youth programs for Hapkido, Guazabara, Warrior Fit and practical self-defense workshops.
